For people who living in Taiwan prior to 1945, the ancestors almost come from Zhanzhou and Quanzhou early as late-Ming dynasty. The called" ZhanQuzn's civil war"(漳泉械鬥) is a bad page in history of Taiwan at the controlled under Ching-dynasty.
The old Zhanzhou always called as Longxi, or Long Shi(龍溪), but no more remaining now. In history, the Amoy is belonging to Zhanzhou, then the relationship is tightly even the language is similar in spite the thinking process.
